You’ve all heard it, and you know it’s true! You get what you pay for! And you get what you pay for in the pet industry too! But here’s the thing: We’ve all heard the buzz and reviews from our friends or family members who claim that this isn’t true! But I know a gal who does it for (fill in the blank) and my Fluffy has never looked better! I’m not here to argue with that, but I am here to reiterate that yes, yes, a million times yes, you get what you pay for!
Synergy Pet Salon in Lehi, Utah isn’t the most expensive. And we are not the cheapest. There will always be someone cheaper, and always someone more expensive, that’s just the way it goes! However, one thing I am passionate about is transparency. I believe the client deserves to know exactly what it is that they are paying for. So here’s what you get at Synergy Pet Salon:
Convenience
You’ve heard the catch phrase “location, location, location?” Yeah, we have that! We are conveniently located right off of Main street in Lehi, Utah. We’re just a skip and a jump away from the freeway, and seconds away from boutique shopping, food and more! We also offer convenient hours: 8am to 6 pm, six days per week. If you work, you no longer have to wait until Saturday to get the dog groomed, you can drop off and pick up before/after work! We also offer special Sunday appointments for our subscription clients by appointment only. (What’s a subscription? Stay tuned, I will be announcing our subscription program verrrrrrry soon).
We also offer Online Scheduling, so you never miss an appointment and you can schedule any time of day. Our online system allows you to receive an appointment reminder 24 hours before your appointment.
Premier Products
One way to get a cheaper groom is to skimp on products. We don’t do that here. If you’re looking for cheap shampoo and conditioner, there are plenty of salons that offer that. Our vision is to continually seek out the gentlest, most effective, natural products for your cat and dog. Your pet’s skin is his or her largest organ of the body and we believe that it makes a difference what touches that skin. We research product ingredients and offer several upgraded shampoo and conditioner options for reducing shedding, soothing skin, and freshening breath. We really feel that these products are the best, at least until we find something better, then we’ll be all over that. Some of the products we currently offer: mudbaths for dogs and cats (amazing for shedding reduction, skin problems, itchy pets, Tooth gel with chlorophyll to reduce plaque and tartar, Aloe shampoo for gentle cleansing of sensitive skin, and more!
Additional Boutique Items and Services
Synergy Pet Salon in Lehi, Utah offers professional dog training! Whether your dog needs basic manners, or you want to polish up on some tricks, introduce your furry family member to a new baby, or just work on some potty training, we have a class for that! We consider training to be one of our most valuable amenities.
We now also offer Pet Photography from a full-service, professional photographer. Basic pet photographs are available frequently during the week, and full, on location sessions are also available. Our photographer will work with you to select the package that best suits your needs. Our packages range from affordable, basic wall art valued at $40 per session to the more creative, custom photography sessions. Your pet is family, isn’t it time your walls reflected that?
If you’ve been inside our little store recently, you may have seen our display of hand-crafted pet spa products. Products are made with all-natural ingredients and include paw wax and our signature cologne. We have big plans to add more over the next year.
We also have raw bones available, conveniently individually wrapped. Bones are kept in our freezer and we recommend them to every pet, especially right after a breath treatment! If you’ve heard me talk in person, you’ve likely heard me say “toothbrushing doesn’t work.” I will not sell you a service I do not believe will benefit your pet. For toothbrushing to be effective, it needs to be done daily, preferably twice a day, and spending $10 on toothbrushing at the groomer once a month is just not going to cut it. We will also have Raw dog food available very soon once we have a freezer large enough to store it in!
What else would you like to see in our shop? Our focus is on natural, holistic, local and ethically responsible items, and we are on the hunt to add variety to our inventory. 
Experience and Continuing Education
Experience matters. I personally have 15 years of experience as a pet groomer, both dogs and cats. I trained at an independent grooming academy in Tucson, Arizona and I have experience both in boutique and corporate salons. I’ve seen a lot. I conscientiously hand pick all of the staff who come to work here at Synergy Pet Salon. I have personally witnessed individuals walk in to a grooming salon with absolutely zero experience, pick up a pair of scissors and call themselves groomers. Your pocketbook and your pet deserve better than that! Our salon and groomers continually invest in continuing education. It’s a requirement for being a Synergy Pet Groomer to attend a minimum of one workshop or symposium per year to further expand our horizons and experience. We learn the best from being around other people and learning from each other, and that’s exactly what we do. 
Support Small Business
When you support a small business, you support families. I will take this one step farther because I strongly considered opening a home business before I decided to take over the lease at the at 115 W. Main Street. There were some definite pros to having my business from my home and I fully support small businesses that use this model! However, I wanted Synergy Pet Salon to support not just my family, but others. We are a family-friendly business and when you support our business, you support several families. I strongly support professional women and our business is mother and baby friendly. If you stop in, there’s a good chance you will see my children. My staff also has the option to use our back suite for their own children, and we often have a nanny on the premises for those that choose to utilize this option. By opening a brick and mortar store, I am supported by skilled staff. This makes me a better groomer, allows me to groom pets more safely and efficiently and offer so much more to my clients than I could have from home. Ultimately, this is what swayed my decision, and here we are.
